Whew! It's hot here in Florida!

OK, I guess my blood temperature is still trying to adjust to the 90 degree days in May, but wow it's hot down here. Moved here in December and I don't think we have had one day under 60! It's really a wonderful place to live. We're in North Central Florida along the St. Johns river...great views and good fishing...I could do without the alligator's thought!!!

To brodiegal who lives in N. Central FL. I live in Deerfield Bch. between Ft. Laud. and Boca. We have had cooler weather this past week than Irwin. I'm used to the Iguanas and lizards, but I will never get used to the Palmetto Bugs .....ughhhh! Moved here in '85 from Irwin. Would like to talk to other people from the Irwin area.
It's Friday night, raining like crazy; which is one reason I'm on this site.

Takes about a year for your blood to thin, Good Luck!

Wait until August and September, now that's hot! It's worth it though, in the Fall and Winter. I graduated from Norwin in 1964, moved to Florida that same year. Met my husband in Florida, but he was born and raised in Pittsburgh. My boss of 25 years was also born and raised in Pittsburgh. Just can't get away from it. We also live in Central Florida, Winter Springs. Love the St. Johns, if we aren't out on the ocean in our boat, we are on the river.
Hi. I was browsing the Norwin members & saw you are also in Florida. I laughed when I read your comment about the Palmetto bugs. I hate 'em, too!. I've been in Florida since 1995 - can't believe it's been that long!. Sometimes I miss the old hometown, but don't miss the snow & cold weather. Guess we trade one thing for another.
