trash pickup
Tags:
well here we are again trash day and no pickup as expected. how many times and places have they advertised how pickup at the end of the year was to be. like we are dummies. well county haulings last day was today and the trash is still on the street for the holiday. now we have to wait until next thursday for pickup almost two weeks. the township should have been on top of this garbage situation and not just getting bids but making sure that the job was done right. the last two months have been shameful with trash collection. the township should get some of our hard earned money back and put it toward the increase of next year.

I can't begin to tell you how many times I had to call County Hauling about the trash not being picked up when it was supposed to be. Always an excuse - people called off, broken down truck, etc.
Waste Management better be here on time for the price they are charging us.
I will not put up with it anymore - especially since they charge more.

I think Kim Wolf or whoever she is should give us answers, I'd like to see those bids. Are newly elected Commissioner in my area is doing a lousy job already.
I think the North Huntingdon should hire me, I would at least work for the people of NH and not just for myself.
You a lot of people are planning or thinking of leaving this area and if they do it's your fault, Commissioners and Kim Wolf.
Just thought you ought to know.
My garbage is still sitting outside, how about they don't get paid when they miss?
WM was the cheaper bid, County didn't bid as the contract made them no money. I forgot who was the 2nd bidder, but their price was even higher then WM's.
I bet WM will be asking for a raise in rates around June, as the gas price ventures closer to $4 a gallon.
Why did North Huntingdon hire Waste Management again? Why did the previous hauler decline to put in a bid? There has to be a reason. They were very good and fair priced. Did North Huntingdon really put out bids?
Waste Management is overpriced. Why doesn't the township try to keep the price down on garbage?
