Oil and Food in Myanmar
Tobacco plays a roll in Myanmar’s economics under the tutelage of "University of Kentucky" Fulbright Scholar, Brent Rowell. Horticulture technology being used there is, drip irrigation, pest management, and vegetable sustainability and production, funded in part, by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Pest management means herbicides, insecticides, and pesticides. Chemicals, through osmosis, destroys living anti-bodies in the plant and animal kingdoms. Major agri-business and investments are identified as RPMM, acronym for “Rothmans of Pall Mall Myanmar“
Oil exploration began in 2006 in the “Gulf of Martaban”, PTT will develop oil and gas fields in Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Algeria.
Palm Oil is produced as a biodiesel fuel as well as for human consumption. “Golden Hope” has a 500,000 acre plantation producing 380,000 tons of oil in 2008 alone.

We are a country rich in Agronomy (soil), Agriculture, water, and much of this is inland. We've been selling off this land for decades to any country who has the money to buy our land. How does any of this make sense?
