Cub Scout Pack 250 will have extra Luminaria kits prepared for delivery for this Holiday Season. If you have not been contacted by your local pack or troop regarding the purchase of these kits, you may contact us using the form below.

The plan described below is an opportunity for North Huntingdon Township to demonstrate their community pride and spirit during this Christmas Season.

In the spirit of Christmas, we urge EVERY home in North Huntingdon Township to place a lighted luminaria candle, about every 10 feet, on the street beside the curb. The candles should be placed in a paper bag containing sufficient sand to hold the candle in an upright position. The plan is to have each home-owner (1) place the candles, (2) light them at sunset Christmas Eve, (3) allow the candles to burn all night, and (4) dispose of the material Christmas morning. The candles and other material will be delivered to your home as described below by the Cub Scouts.

Saturday, November 10th Cub Scouts deliver the Luminaria Order Forms door-to-door.

Return by: Saturday, November 24th Fill out the bottom section of this form. Remove the bottom section of the form. Place the bottom section of the form and your $5.00 donation per kit in an envelope and mail to the address below. (Each kit contains: 4 candles, 4 bags, and enough sand to support the candles.) Saturday, December 15th Cub Scouts will deliver the Luminaria Kits you ordered to your home. We suggest that you remove the candles and paper bags from the kit in to keep them dry until Christmas Eve.
December 24th Christmas Eve We suggest each home-owner place and light the candles at sunset and dispose of the materials on Christmas morning.

December 25th Christmas Day If inclement weather prevents putting out luminaria on Christmas Eve, let us keep our Christmas Spirit and put them out Christmas Day at sunset and dispose of the materials in the morning of December 26th.
