When is a "Developer" going to realize that North Huntingdon needs some good quality restaurants around here? The wrecking ball will soon be bringing down a legendary western Pa. landmark. So we can buy discount health and beauty products, pay high prescription prices and get a cup of coffee at prices similar to what gasoline is going for these days. I'm not talking about fast food or pizza. I mean good quality food. Sure we have some fine places here, but look at Jeannette. That town is full of great restaurants. Here we sit with all this prosperity and our places are closing. Funny everybody fears us becoming Monroeville Jr., but when they want to go out to eat that is where they head. Don't get me wrong, the places we have are fantastic. Just too few.

I recently read that Stewartsville School was going to be knocked down because it is not handicapped compliant. Excuse for this is, it's cheaper to rip a building down than renovate it.
I totally disagree.
It takes design, quality craftsman and community leaders. The American's with disabilities act was passed in 1991 and Stewartsville School is still not compliant??? School adminstrators are lying to the taxpayers of the Norwin School District.
Question: Is the townhouse itself compliant? Or is that question to difficult for managers and commissioners to answer?
The community is entirely too dependent on the mentality of overpaid administrators and educators. In fact, these same people have taken it upon themselves to run every aspect of the community resources. They do not have the education to perform at this professional of a level.
They would rather botch up than admit how stupid they are. Not knowing how to renovate, or recycle, a building is a simple lack of leadership.
DISGUSTING!!
