North Huntingdon sewer inspection blasted

The North Huntingdon Township Municipal Authority's new requirement for private lateral sewer line inspection before a home sale takes effect Thursday, which may delay the May 15 closing on Brian and Julie Cuturilo's home. And they are not pleased. They were among around 70 neighbors in the Penn Woods section of the township who attended a question-and-answer session hosted by some authority representatives Tuesday night at the Penns Woods Civic Association meeting hall, the Tribune-Review reports.

Is it true they are doing the sewer inspections all over the township?
I live off of McKee Road and we hear we are next for inspection. My house is 40 years old and truthfully do not want my yard to be dug up. Why are we concerned all of a sudden? Is this due to all of the new homes being built? Do we need new sewer facilities? Why not let the famous builders help out here??????People just do not have the money for all of this. Come on commissioners-we have been complaining about the creek behind our homes due to flooding!!!!! Wake up here.
