On Saturday, March 15, 2008, Angel’s Toy Barn in the Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg will host local author and yoga teacher Christine Sumner for a book signing. Christine is the author of I Can Be: A Child’s Whimsical Introduction to Yoga. I Can Be gets children stretching and exploring their world through the practice of yoga. As children learn to “caw like a crow” and “buzz like a bee,” they are encouraged to celebrate their uniqueness and make time to simply be.

The event will begin at 1:00 pm with a reading of the book and fun yoga instruction. The author will be available from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to read her book and practice yoga with children. I Can Be was printed locally at South Greensburg Printing Company, Inc. A percentage of all proceeds from I Can Be is donated to a local nonprofit, Developmental Delay Resources.
