Downtown Irwin Holiday Cookie Tour!

IBPA will host the “Christmas Cookie Tour” of downtown Irwin.
Friday, December 8th from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It will feature a twilight tour on Friday with luminarias, horse-drawn carriage rides and strolling carolers.
Saturday’s activity will feature choral groups, musicians and horse-drawn carriage rides.
Visitors can pick up a cookie tour participant card at participating shops or businesses, which will serve homemade cookies. Christmas cookies also will be sold at Queen of Angels School at the Bosco Center along Pennsylvania Avenue. Those who get each participating business to sign off on that card will be entered into a drawing to win $100 in “Irwin Bucks”
redeemable at participating stores.

Parking will be available in select lots in the Main Street area as

After Friday’s tour, visitors can venture up to Covenant Hall, the former United Presbyterian Church of the Covenant along Fourth Street, where John Smialowski is presenting a “Christmas Spectacular” with music, merriment and “special guests” at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $8 and proceeds benefit Youngtimers Touring Opera Co. Inc.,
based at Covenant Hall. Tickets are available in advance at Mail Priority in Norwin Hills Shopping Center in North Huntingdon Twp. or at the door.
