Kociela-Armao

Christie Kociela of Trafford and Frank Armao of Monroeville were united in marriage on July 14, 2007, at Christian Life Church, Trafford.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Renee Kociela of Trafford. She is a 1999 graduate of Penn-Trafford High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is completing her master's degree at Gannon University.

Christie is employed as a kindergarten teacher in Franklin Regional School District.

The groom is the son of Frank and Joanne Armao of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Penn Township. He is a 1997 graduate of Penn Trafford High School and California University of Pennsylvania.

Frank is employed at Direct Settlement, Monroeville.

The Rev. Jerry Williams officiated the ceremony.

Maids of honor were Jocelyn Jury-Voskian and Jenley Gould, friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kristen Natale, sister of the groom and Angela Burke, Heather Capozzi, Kelly Casino, Jen Dranusky, Christy Michaux-Connelly, Jami Nutter-Porter, friends of the bride.

Best men were Mike Waldron and Sean Kozielec, friends of the groom. Groomsmen were Anthony Natale, brother-in-law of the groom; Ryan Kociela, cousin of the bride; and Chad Porter, Josh Price and P.J. Maljan, friends of the groom.

The reception was held at Lakeview in Greensburg. The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

They now live in Monroeville.

Totin-Gareis

Kristy Lynn Totin of North Huntingdon and Alan Michael Gareis were united in marriage on Sept. 15, 2007, at Mountain View Inn, Greensburg.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce Totin of West Newton and Kim Totin of North Huntingdon. She is a graduate of Norwin High School and Bradford Business School.

The groom is the son of Al and Robin Gareis of Irwin. He is a graduate of Hempfield Area High School.

Maid of honor was Amanda Porterfield, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaid was Heather Gareis, sister of the groom.

Best man was Mike Jurick, cousin of the groom. Groomsman was Cody Totin, brother of the bride.

They honeymooned in Ocean City, Md.

Kropp-Foley

Lauren Kropp of Monroeville and Michael Foley of Floral Park, N.Y., were united in marriage on July 14, 2007, at St. Bernadette Church in Monroeville.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Elaine Kropp of Monroeville. She graduated from Gateway High School and Gannon University where she received her bachelor of science degree in biology and education. She is finishing her master's degree at the University of Maryland.

Lauren is teaching at Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park.

The groom is the son of Daniel and Patricia Foley of Floral Park. He has a bachelor's degree in history education from Siena College and a master's degree from the University of Scranton.

Michael is teaching at Chaminade High School in Mineola, N.Y.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. James Williams.

Maid of honor was Bridget Ferris, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Marissa Kropp, sister of the bride; Leslie Knoerl, friend of the bride; and Theresa Foley, sister of the groom.

The best man was Michael DiMaio, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Patrick and Sean Foley, brothers of the groom, and Nick Tier, friend of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in the Riviera, Maya, Mexico. They now reside in Floral Park, N.Y.
