Heather Miller of Johnstown and Zachary Keller of Bel Air, Md., were united in marriage on July 14, 2007, at Whalley Chapel, University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus.
The groom is the son of Steven and Mary Ann Keller of Irwin. He graduated from University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus, where he obtained his bachelor of science degree in elementary education.
Zachery is employed as a fifth-grade elementary school teacher at North Harford Elementary, Harford County Schools, Md.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Susan Miller of Johnstown. She graduated from University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus, where she obtained her bachelor of arts degree in English education.
Heather is employed as a high school English teacher at Edgewood High School, Harford County Schools in Maryland.
Monsignor Michael Becker officiated the ceremony.
Maid of honor was Kristen Williams, friend. Bridesmaids were Alison Keller, sister of the groom; Danielle Ickes, Gina Patterson, Heather Marko, Miranda Simunic and Sheena Mickey, friends.
Best man was Alexander Gorshenin, a friend. Groomsmen were Nathan Keller, brother of the groom; Joseph Miller Jr., brother of the bride; Andrew Klingensmith, Blair Kunkle, Daniel Robol, and Matthew Shicchitano, friends.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They reside in Bel Air, Md.
Murtha-Sypolt
Colleen Murtha of North Huntingdon and Donald C. Sypolt IV of Ross Township were united in marriage on Oct. 13, 2007, at St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Murtha of North Huntingdon and the late Kevin M. Murtha. She graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in criminology.
Colleen is employed as a surveillance supervisor at the Meadows Race Track & Casino.
The groom is the son of Donald Jr. and Lois Sypolt of Munhall. He attended Penn State University and is a police officer for Ross Township.
The Rev. Thaddeus Kaczmarek officiated the ceremony.
Maid of honor was Allyson Hantz, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Erin Dryburgh, sister of the groom; Kara Murtha, sister-in-law of the bride; Caitlin Murtha, cousin of the bride; Elizabeth Graham and Amber Washowich, friends of the bride.
Best man was Joseph Stepansky, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Patrick Murtha, brother of the bride; Shawn Kyne, David Sciullo, Michael Orsino and Dale McCue, all friends of the groom.
The reception was held at Stratigos Banquet Centre in North Huntingdon.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica. They reside in Ross Township.
Knopf -Dumnich
Jaime Lynn Knopf and Paul Michael Dumnich, both of Irwin, were united in marriage on Oct. 20, 2007, at the West Hempfield Presbyterian Church, Irwin.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Darcy Nave of North Huntingdon. She graduated from Westmoreland County Community College.
She is employed as a secretary at University Park Elementary School in Monroeville.
The groom is the son of Michael and Carla Dumnich of Latrobe. He graduated from Greater Latrobe Area High School and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is employed as a security guard with DELPHI and based at East Allegheny High School in North Versailles.
The Rev. John Simpson officiated the ceremony.
Maid of honor was Stacey Smith, friend of bride and groom.
Best men were Paul Dumnich, Jr. and Alexander Dumnich.
The couple plan a June 2008 honeymoon to Nashville, Tenn., to attend the CMA Music Festival.
Xu-Wilson
Minnan Xu and Kevin W. Wilson were united in marriage on Aug. 11, 2007, at the Charles River Museum of Industry, Waltham, Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Shuliang Xu and Weiming Liu of Shanghai, China. She graduated from Southside High School in Greenville, S.C., and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science and electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Mass.
She is studying for a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
The groom is the son of William K. and Betty Wilson of Churchill. After graduating from Woodland Hills High School in 1995, he attended MIT and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science and electrical engineering and a Ph.D. in computer science.
He is employed by Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratory, Cambridge.
Kuo-Hsiung H. Wong officiated the ceremony.
Maid of honor was Elizabeth Sloughter. Flower girl was Sophia, her daughter.
Best man was Minh Thai. Adam Xu, the bride's brother, and Lorri Wilson, the groom's sister, participated in the ceremony.
The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.
