Cornerstone Ministries Welcomes Best-selling Author, Dr. Paul Kengor
On Sunday, July 22, 2007, Cornerstone Ministries of Export will be welcoming author and speaker, Dr. Paul Kengor. Dr. Kengor is currently a political science professor at Grove City College, as well as executive director of their think-tank/policy center, The Center for Vision & Values. He holds his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh, and received his master's degree from American University. He gained popularity for his first book, God and Ronald Reagan, which made various best seller lists including The New York Times, Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. He has also authored God and George Bush, and The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism. He has been published in numerous papers, including New York Times, USA Today, and Christianity Today. He has regularly shared his conservative views on MSNBC, C-SPAN, and radio-talk shows such as Hannity & Colmes and The O'Reilly Factor. Locally, Dr. Kengor has spoken about his research and works at Saint Vincent College and the University of Pittsburgh. He has researched with multiple think-tanks, and served on various committees, including the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He currently resides with his wife Susan and their four children in Grove City, PA.
As he joins Cornerstone Ministries, he will be presenting, Ronald Reagan: How a River and a Church Forged a Citizen and a Leader. The talk surrounds Reagan's idea of “practical Christianity,” which explores how Christian faith influences actions in both private and personal life. It is designed to reach a large audience, from adolescents to adults. This is a speaker you will not want to miss.
Dr. Kengor will speak at both 9 and 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 22 at Cornerstone Ministries, located at 2200 Cornerstone Lane, Export. The public is invited and there is no charge for admission.
