Schoffstalls celebrate 60th anniversary

Chuck and Helen Schoffstall of Penn Hills celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a reception at Universal Fire Hall No. 6.

The couple wed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, 1947, at Mother of Good Counsel Church in Brushton.

Chuck is retired from Silver Star Meats Inc. He is currently a school guard for Penn Hills.

Helen is retired from Community Market.

The couple has five grandchildren: Joe Jr., Matthew, Abbey, Joshau and Jarred.
