Megan Yanos, a sophomore pre-veterinary medicine major, has been awarded The University of Findlay's Trustee's Scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year.

Yanos, a 2006 graduate of Norwin High School, is the daughter of Laurie and Keith Yanos of North Huntingdon.

Miklows

Zachary Miklows, a freshman at Washington and Jefferson College made the fall 2007 dean's list with a 3.5 grade point average.

A graduate of Norwin High School, Miklows also was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society for freshmen.

He is the son of Dolores and Richard Miklows.

Schulte

Jennifer Schulte of Irwin, a senior at Waynesburg University, was selected for "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."

Students were selected by a nominating committee comprised of deans, faculty members and department chairpeople.

McGhee

David McGhee of Irwin was one of 22 students from Seton Hill University to participate in the Seton Hill Campus Ministry's annual Habitat for Humanity Spring Break trip.

The group of volunteers worked last week with Habitat for Humanity to build homes in Pittsboro, N.C.
