A number of local students graduated from University of Pittsburgh's Greensburg campus in December.

From Irwin: Frank DeLattre, Pamela Kravetz, Kristen Macioce, Stephen Ondrey, Lisa Saddler and Jennie Wigle.

From North Huntingdon: Nalene Denning, Amanda Denning, Colleen Ellig, Robert Fleming, Brandon Hreha, Cassandra Paradise-Mull, Wilson Ragen and Larissa Strum.

Park

Tarah Park of North Huntingdon is one of the 19 Westminster College senior English majors who will be honored at the final Bleasby Colloquium of the academic year Thursday in the Witherspoon Maple Room of the McKelvey Campus Center.

A graduate of Norwin High School, Park is a daughter of William and Elizabeth Park.

Several of the students will read from their capstone projects, which is the final component of the liberal studies curriculum at Westminster. The capstone is a course within the major designed to provide an opportunity for students to evaluate and assess the strengths and limitations of their major field.

Seton Hill theater

Two local students will be part of Seton Hill University Theatre's "Side By Side by Sondheim," held from April 25 through May 3.

Yanos

The artwork of Megan Yanos of North Huntingdon, a sophomore pre-vetinary medicine major, is on display at the University of Findlay's 2008 Juried Student Art Exhibition.

All students can submit pieces for the show, and judges select the pieces to be displayed. Yanos' work, "Symmetries of the Sea," received an honorable mention in the two-dimensional design category.

Yanos is the daughter of Laurie and Keith Yanos of North Huntingdon.
