Lightfoots celebrate 60 years

Louis and Sylvia Lightfoot of Penn Hills celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

The couple wed Aug. 21, 1947, at St. Anselm's in Swissvale.

The couple had four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Boals celebrate 70th anniversary

Charles and Margaret Boal of Monroeville celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

The couple wed Nov. 12, 1937, in the home of the Christian Church's minister in Turtle Creek.

Charles retired from Westinghouse where he was employed for 45 years as an industrial engineer. Margaret retired from the prothonotary's office in Pittsburgh after 23 years as a court clerk.

The couple has one son, Charles of Monroeville.
