Cast to perform 'Mikado'
Wearing handmade kimonos and wigs donated by the theater department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the Youngtimers Touring Opera Company Inc. is ready for the opening of this week's "The Mikado."
The Gilbert and Sullivan production at Covenant Hall in Irwin will have 8 p.m. shows on Thursday, Aug. 2, through Saturday, Aug. 4, and Thursday, Aug. 9, through Saturday, Aug. 11. Sunday matinées at 3 p.m. will be on Aug. 4 and Aug. 12.
Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at the door, from cast members or at the following locations: Mail Priority at Norwin Hills Shopping Center, 724-864-6245, and at Interiors by Woleslagle, 205 Fourth St. in Irwin, 724-864-0560. Cash and checks are accepted. Make checks payable to: YTOC Inc.

Youngtimers Touring Opera Company (YTOC), Inc 2007 will be performing Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado" on August 2, 2007 through August 5, 2007 and August 9, 2007 through August 12, 2007 at Covenant Hall, Irwin's Center for the Arts, 316 Maple St., Irwin, PA 15642.
Show times are 8:00PM Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a 3:00PM Sunday Matinee.

Gilbert & Sullivan's The Mikado opened last night at Covenant Hall. The performance by the Youngtimers was absolutely spectacular! These young people are so extremely talented. This is a very classy show with beautiful set designs and costumes, lively music, beautiful voices and comic relief. The Mikado is definitely a show you won't want to miss seeing. Please come out and support your local community Center for the Arts. You will not be disappointed!
