Jake is employed as a special education teacher at Pivik Elementary School in the Plum School District.

The future bride is a graduate of Bethel Park High School and Clarion University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and early childhood.

Christy is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at the Butler Area School District, Oakland Township elementary school.

The couple is planning a June 28, 2008, wedding at St. Louise, in Bethel Park.

Lorie Klepfer of North Huntingdon and Larry and Betty Klepfer of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Deidra Renae, to Michael Penrose of Chambersburg, son of Dale and Caryn Penrose of Indiana, Pa.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Norwin High School and Indiana University of Pennsyl-vania, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

She is employed as a student nurse at Excela Health, Greensburg.

The groom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Indiana High School. He is also a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the State Police Academy, Harrisburg.

Michael is a Pennsylvania State Trooper at the Chambersburg station.

The couple is planning an August 2009 wedding.

Michael and Kathleen Fecik of Plum, announce the engagement of their daughter, Alysson, to Eric Buchan, son of Michael and Deborah Buchan of Johnstown.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Plum High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.

Alysson is employed as a licensing specialist with MetLife at Johnstown.

The groom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.

Eric is employed as a civil engineer at Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Indiana, Pa.

The couple is planning an April 12, 2008, wedding in Pittsburgh.
