The Home Gardeners Guild, with members from North Huntingdon, White Oak and McKeesport, will meet Thursday, May 12, at 10:30 a.m. at the McKeesport Garden Center.

Thelma Luehm and Barbara Witherspoon will act as hostesses.

Norah Davis will read The Club Collect, a report from the club's history.

Garden therapy chairwoman Marla Kalning and her committee will meet with the exceptional students from McKeesport High School on Monday, May 23, at Renzie Park for the students' year-end picnic.

Graduating seniors will be honored, and the club will provide the students with a picnic lunch and games.

Civic chairwoman Dorothy Pollock and her committee will meet at the Lindsley Personal Care Home on Wednesday, May 25, at 1 p.m. to plant baskets with flowers for the residents.

Horticulture chairwoman Gerry Petrick will offer tips on what trees and shrubs are suitable for the area and on buying and planting them.

Program chairwoman Marian Lunch has planned an in-house miniature flower show. All members are to provide an arrangement. Haddie Weber will judge the entries.

Joy Johnson and Joan Steimer will visit shut-ins during the month of May.
