Norwin Christian Church to show 'Case for the Creator'

This Sunday at 10 a.m., Norwin Christian Church will show "The Case for the Creator," a DVD presentation by Lee Strobel. Strobel is a former atheist and journalist for the Chicago Tribune who became a believer in God.

"The Case for the Creator" examines the evidences of science and creation that led him to conclude that there is a God who created the universe and life.

The public is invited to the presentation.

Dinner plans

An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner and bake sale will be held on Saturday, from 4 to 8 p.m., in Circleville United Methodist Church, Robbins Station Road.

The cost is $5.50 for adults and $4 for children 6 to 12. Children under 6 are admitted free.

Tickets are sold at the door.

Eastgate Aglow

The Rev. Peter Young of West Chester will be the guest speaker at Eastgate's monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on May 12 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Monroeville. Eastgate Aglow was formed this year by uniting Murrysville and Irwin Aglow chapters.

Gala

"Going for the Gold," an annual dinner and auction benefiting Queen of Angels School, is Friday beginning at 6 in the Bishop Bosco Center, North Huntingdon.
