The Norwin football coaching staff will host Norwin Knight Pride football mini camp in two sessions this summer for players entering grades three through 10.

Session I will be June 19 to 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. Session II will be June 23 to 24, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Cost is $30 for each camp or $50 for both and includes a T-shirt and mouthpiece. The coaches will instruct on proper techniques for each position on offense and defense.

Par 2

Jim Engel won the weekly tournament in the Monroeville Par 2 Golf Courses Golf League last week.

He fired a 22-under-par 86 to edge Craig Williams (87) and Walter Kizzie (87).

Other competitors included John Tuite (88), Gerald Vick (90), John Bambling (92), Don Cherry (93), Ken Hastings (97) and Bill Combs (99).

Hockey signups

Norwin Hockey Club will hold ice hockey registration for players in grades three through 12 on Sunday, from 1 to 4 p.m., at North Huntingdon Townhouse, and on June 1 at Center Ice Arena, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

There also will be free stick time for players on June 1 at Center Ice Arena from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Senior games

The Pittsburgh Senior Games, sponsored by the Citiparks Senior Interests Program, will be held from June 1 to June 16 at various sites in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Age divisions are 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and 85-and-older.

Events include archery, basketball shooting, boccie, bowling, darts, 5K running, nine-hole golf, horseshoes, kooshball, pool, shuffleboard, table tennis, track and field, and lawn bowling.

The registration fee for the Citiparks Senior Games is $2, which covers the cost of all events except bowling, golf and the 5K.

Deadline for registration is May 23.
