Golden-Benson

Erin Golden and Mark Benson Jr. were united in marriage on Sept. 29, 2007, at the Comfort Inn in Pittsburgh.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia Golden of Penn Hills and Paul Golden and his wife, Vicky, of West Homestead. She is employed at WHEMCO Inc. in the South Side Works as the executive assistant to the president.

The groom is the son of Mark Benson Sr. and his wife, Susie, of Akron, Ohio, and the late Donna Benson. Mark is employed at GMS Inc. in East Pittsburgh as a machinist/generator technician.

The couple met at Washington Elementary School in Penn Hills when they were 6 years old. They graduated from Penn Hills High School in 1985, became reacquainted 20 years later and tied the knot.

The Rev. Larry D. Goyda officiated the ceremony.

Maid of honor was Mackenzie Golden Dailey, daughter of the bride. Greeters were Paula Boruch, sister of the bride; Nicole Miele, daughter of the groom; Heather Golden, Kelsey Golden and Megan Golden, nieces of the bride.

Best man was Nando Palombo, friend of the groom. Ushers were Kirk Golden and Mark Golden, brothers of the bride; Eric Benson, brother of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in Aruba. They now live in Plum.

Polizzano-Weismann

Jodi Polizzano and Jeffrey Weismann were united in marriage on July 21, 2007, at Duquesne University Chapel in Pittsburgh.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Mary Polizzano of Monroeville. She is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary and special education, and Master of Science degree in instructional technology. Jodi is employed as a teacher in the Penn-Trafford School District.

The groom is the son of Edward and Judith Weismann of Shaler Township. He is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.

He is employed as a certified public accountant at KPMG in Pittsburgh.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Naos McCool.

Best men were Russell Weismann, groom's brother, and Kevin Ferra, groom's best friend. Groomsmen were Dan Polizzano, the bride's brother; and Jeremy Mock, Andrew Sikora, Adam Devett and Michael Chiodo, all friends of the groom.

Matron of honor was Amy McKinley, the bride's best friend. Bridesmaids were Lisa Joyce, Jodie Shubert, Ravina Kullar, Jessica Sulkowski, Megan Macek and Nicole Lange, all friends of the bride.

The couple honeymooned on a Hawaiian cruise.
