On Sunday, July 22, 2007, Cornerstone Ministries of Export will be welcoming author and speaker, Dr. Paul Kengor. Dr. Kengor is currently a political science professor at Grove City College, as well as executive director of their think-tank/policy center, The Center for Vision & Values. He holds his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh, and received his master's degree from American University. He gained popularity for his first book, God and Ronald Reagan, which made various best seller lists including The New York Times, Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. He has also authored God and George Bush, and The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism. He has been published in numerous papers, including New York Times, USA Today, and Christianity Today. He has regularly shared his conservative views on MSNBC, C-SPAN, and radio-talk shows such as Hannity & Colmes and The O'Reilly Factor. Locally, Dr. Kengor has spoken about his research and works at Saint Vincent College and the University of Pittsburgh. He has researched with multiple think-tanks, and served on various committees, including the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Kid's Kingdom at Norwin Christian Church will have "A Celebration for Heroes" where children in grades kindergarten to fourth can come dressed in their favorite hero costume or pajamas.
