North Huntingdon's planning commission members expressed mixed emotions Monday about Smart Growth Partnership of Westmoreland County's pitch to adopt pieces of the group's master plan for Route 30 corridor redevelopment. Planning commission Chairman Bill Chapman questioned how easy it will be for every community to get on the same page and make the plan work, the Tribune-Review reports.

Where do YOU think cars should be stopping at the stop sign in front of Queen of Angels school (formerly Norwin East)? I personally think you should stop where the sign is, then proceed forward and yield onto Pennsylvania Avenue to the west or Center Highway to the east.  read more »
